Welcome to the Acorn Class Page!
This term, we’re excited to begin our learning journey by exploring our new classroom, getting to know our daily routines, and—most importantly—having lots of fun while we learn!
Our topic this half term is ‘Houses and Homes’. We’ll be discovering the different types of homes that people live in, talking about our own homes and who lives with us, and even drawing them too! We’ll also get creative by building our own houses, inspired by the materials used in the story The Three Little Pigs. But watch out… we’ll need to make sure our houses are strong enough to withstand the huffing and puffing of the Big Bad Wolf!
To bring our learning to life, we’ll finish the topic with a walk around the village, where we’ll spot and talk about the different kinds of houses we’ve learned about.
