Welcome to Willow Class
Welcome Back!
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
This half term, our topic is called ‘Pirates’. We have lots of learning planned around this Geography topic such as; learning the location and names of the 5 oceans, naming and using the compass points, being able to locate The Equator, North and South Poles on a map or globe and learning the features of an Island. This, along with creating a flag, sorting clothes for different weathers and learning about the four seasons will be supported by our very own resident pirate; Captain Poop-Deck Pete! I am sure you will be hearing lots about him!
We will be ending our exciting learning, with a Pirate Party which will include; creating our own treasure maps, decorating cakes and possibly a visit from somebody very special 🙂
Please see that this term PE days have changed. They are now on a Tuesday and Friday afternoon with Mrs. Hovell. Please make sure your children come to school in their PE kits with earrings removed and long hair tied up.
