Welcome to the Acorn Class Page!
We hope you all had a wonderful and sunny half-term break. It is hard to believe that we are now in the final half term of our year in Acorn Class! The year has flown by, and we are incredibly proud of all the children.
We have an exciting half term ahead, packed with engaging learning opportunities and hands-on investigations. As part of our science learning, the children will design and build their own boats before testing them to discover which materials and designs float best. We will also be exploring floating and sinking through a range of practical activities.
Another exciting investigation will be our Save the Animals ice experiment. The children will be challenged to free toy animals trapped in ice and will investigate which method melts the ice most quickly. They will make predictions, test their ideas, and discuss their findings like real scientists.
Alongside these activities, we have many other exciting learning experiences planned and look forward to sharing them with you throughout the term. We can’t wait to make our final half term in Acorns a memorable one!
